License activation

After /setup creates your admin, open the dashboard. Until activated, a license gate overlays the UI. Separately, purchase also triggers private GitHub collaborator access for One-Click Deploy (see Deploy guide §0).

  1. Purchase on Get license — Polar checkout opens (no Polar wiring inside your Railway project). Use a GitHub-linked email when possible.
  2. Polar emails your license key and a link to the customer portal for that purchase.
  3. Accept the GitHub collaborator invite for playlistcraft-self-host (required to deploy the private template).
  4. Paste the key into Activate on your dashboard (or /activate).
  5. main-server talks to the Playlist Craft license broker; your install never stores Polar org secrets.
One license activates one dashboard instance and includes collaborator access for deploying that install. Do not reshare the repo. Request a refund within 7 days if it is not a fit; refunds are processed within 14 days and may revoke repo access.
