How to Create a Render Style Engine

A Render Style controls the look of your cover images and the motion style for your short background videos when you render playlists.

What is a Render Style?

A Render Style (Render Background Style) defines how cover images and short video backgrounds should look and animate when you render playlists. You upload reference images, and the AI analyzes them to generate consistent style instructions.

Creating a Render Style

Step 1: Navigate to Render Styles

1. Open the dashboard
2. In the sidebar, click Personalization
3. Click the Render Styles tab
4. Click New Render Style

Step 2: Name Your Style and Upload References

1. Set Style Name
2. In Reference Images (Optional), click Upload Images
3. Upload 1–4 images that represent the visual style you want

Once the images upload, PlaylistCraft automatically runs an AI analysis. You'll see an "AI Image Analysis Complete" section appear.

Step 3: Generate Image Instructions

1. Expand the ✓ AI Image Analysis Complete panel to review the analysis
2. In Image Generation Instructions, click Import from Analysis
3. The system auto-fills instructions based on the analyzed style
4. Optionally click AI Refine to polish the instructions further

Step 4: Generate Video Animation Instructions

1. In Video Animation Instructions (10s), click Generate from Analysis
2. The system creates animation instructions based on your reference images
3. Optionally click AI Refine to enhance the animation instructions

Step 5: Save Your Render Style

1. Review both the Image Generation Instructions and Video Animation Instructions
2. Make any manual edits if needed
3. Click Save Changes

Your Render Style is now saved and ready to use!

Using Your Render Style

Once created, you can apply your Render Style during playlist creation:

1. Go to Playlists → Create Playlist → Manual Setup
2. Fill all required fields
3. Scroll to Personalization Styles (Optional)
4. Select your style from the Render Background Style dropdown
5. Continue creating your playlist

When you later render this playlist, the system will use your Render Style instructions to generate visuals that match your reference aesthetic.

Best Practices

• Consistent References: Upload images that share a similar aesthetic for best results
• High Quality: Use high-resolution reference images when possible
• Clear Style: Choose images with distinctive visual elements (colors, textures, composition)
• Multiple Styles: Create different Render Styles for different playlist moods or genres
